Children and youth in crisis shouldn’t have to navigate a maze of offices and waitlists to get critical support. The Spees House is a first-of-its-kind youth center where they can access multiple trusted partners in one welcoming, trauma-informed place—delivering the highest standard of coordinated care.

Providers co-locate, align goals, and share resources. Together, they create a coordinated plan for each child, reducing delays and repeated intakes—a model built on dignity, time, community, and relationship.

Why “The Spees House”?

H. Spees was a bridge-builder—a pastor to the city, a convener, and a servant-leader whose faith moved him toward the margins. He inspired many and helped catalyze Fresno’s collaborative impact, uniting north and south, rich and poor, housed and unhoused to work together.

The Spees House carries his legacy forward: trusted partners under one roof, dignified, trauma-informed space, and coordinated care for children and youth in crisis. It’s where the best systems meet the best places—and where love becomes action in Jesus’ name.
